New DNN Search Options Spell Trouble 

With two DotNetNuke releases and a new DNN newsletter it was an exciting week indeed. But besides that, new modules, module updates and tutorials have seen daylight as well. Here is the gist of it:

I would like to totally remove search. We did remove all of the search details from the skin.css file; however, we are still left with the search on our website. Are there any additional details that you can provide in this area to totally remove search?

You need to remove <dnn:search runat="server" /> from skin.ascx.
