DNN Project Release Tracker Now Public

It is Tuesday again and due to my current consulting workload I am not able to keep up with my blog as I should. Not good, not good at all, but then again ... I gotta get the bills paid. Let's see what other members of the greater DNN community have been up to.

RE: GoogleAnalytics

While I agree that it is easy to just paste your tracking script in default.aspx (or even in an html module), it leaves little to no flexibility at all.

With the new version of my module, you can prevent the tracking script from appearing on a security role basis and also shut it off for a specific localhost name. SuperUser's are automatically excluded from the script insertion as well.

So that essentially means you could exclude all admin / host activity from your Google Analytics reports, correct?

Ed DeGagne Ed DeGagne says:

That is correct.

Host (SuperUser) activity is excluded automatically, but I could make this an option if enough people want it.

But activity could be prevented by any role that is defined in your portal, including the Admin role.
