This Week's DNN Roundup

Posted by Tom on Friday, March 16, 2007 to DotNetNuke, DNN Friday, DNN News

Well, no new DNN release this week, but still a hand-full of news:

  • Bruno (sorry, no last name to be found) releases dotDNN Manager for editing and managing .dnn files and module packages. Since I’m not the coder type I can’t comment much, but I’ll see what geeky types on my team have to say.

  • InDyne Commercial Products Corporation releases ReportXP for “seemless integration between DotNetNuke and Reporting Services 2005”

  • Want to see what DNN is all about without spending hours of research? Check out DNN on a Disc to get a local copy of DNN up and running fast.

  • iMesser.com releases MesSerChat 2.1, an Ajax chat module for DNN

  • SoCanI.org releases DNN Module Builder. I have taken a quick look, but have no clue what this is about yet.

  • German DotNetNuke User Group forms at CeBIT 2007 in Hanover, Germany and gives away free tickets for the show. Too bad I can’t make it, but  I’m pleased to see how DNN thrives in good old Germany.

  • Ventrian Systems releases News Articles 00.05.58 with updates to date tokens for more flexible display of the publish date of articles as well as other token enhancements and bug fixes.

Last name is Lopes :)
Hope your teammates found the manager to be useful, and I'd like to hear back from them as to what I can do to improve their lifes, at least when it comes to managing their dnn modules ;)
Cheers,
Bruno
